Arthritis Pain Treatment in Hyderabad

Arthritis encompasses a wide range of over 100 medical conditions that impact the musculoskeletal system, particularly the joints where two or more bones connect. The most frequently encountered types include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout. Arthritis symptoms typically involve joint pain, stiffness, inflammation or swelling, limited joint mobility, as well as general indications like fatigue and a sense of unwellness. While more common among older individuals, arthritis can affect people of all ages, including children, adolescents, and working-age individuals. It stands as a leading cause of disability and early retirement from employment, alongside back pain.

Causes of Arthritis :
Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout, the three primary forms of arthritis, inflict varying types of damage to the joints.

Osteoarthritis :
Osteoarthritis, the prevailing form of arthritis, occurs when the cartilage in your joints undergoes wear-and-tear damage. Cartilage serves as a protective layer on the ends of bones, enabling smooth joint movement with minimal friction. However, when substantial damage occurs, bones can grind against each other, leading to pain and limited mobility. This gradual deterioration can transpire over an extended period or be expedited by joint injuries or infections.

Osteoarthritis not only impacts the entire joint but also induces alterations in the bones and deterioration of the connective tissues responsible for muscle-to-bone attachment and joint stability. Additionally, it leads to inflammation of the joint lining.

Rheumatoid arthritis :
Rheumatoid arthritis involves the immune system mistakenly targeting and attacking the protective lining of the joint capsule. This results in inflammation and swelling of the synovial membrane, which encloses the joint components. Over time, this inflammatory process can lead to the deterioration of cartilage and bone within the affected joint.

Gout :
Gout, a form of arthritis, causes inflammation and intense pain in a joint. While the big toe is commonly affected, gout can also impact joints such as the hands, wrists, knees, ankles, elbows, or others. This condition occurs due to the accumulation of uric acid, a normal waste product found in the bloodstream. Uric acid is produced when cells break down, DNA is metabolized, and through the consumption of certain foods and beverages.
